The Shared Life

NextGen ministry shaped by shared life

thanks for stopping by

I’m Lindsay. I serve in NextGen ministry because I believe following Jesus is learned best in community.

Children and teenagers come to know Jesus not just through teaching, but by watching faith lived out in real people, real relationships, and real life together. Shared Life is the name I give to the way I seek to follow Jesus and invite the next generation into that way of life.

Rooted in Acts 2:42–48, this ministry is shaped by devotion, shared meals, prayer, generosity, and presence, trusting that Jesus forms faith as we walk together.

I’m rooted in Pittsburgh, along with my husband Matt, where shared life in local community continues to shape how I live and serve the next generation and the local church, in connection with  homechurch.

Shared Life is not a program or a platform. It is a way of following Jesus, practiced slowly, faithfully, and together.

Every post and page on this site is meant for you to take your time. There is a lot to read, it’s not meant to be rushed through for a quick solution. You may feel yourself thinking “just get to the point” or “why is this page so long?”. Everything was written with intention and meant to help you reshape the way we “consume” church and make some reconsiderations. So grab a cup of your favorite warm drink and take a deep breath.

There are different places to remain connected throughout the website. You can subscribe to the blog, subscribe to the ministry newsletter, or connect to my Dot page to exchange contacts and have a conversation.

You are welcome here.
